National Road Race Championships 25-26 June 2005
Dundrod Circuit, Lisburn

Members of the two organising clubs joined Ivan Davis (Lisburn City
Council) for the launch of the championships, 25 April 2005
The club, in cooperation with Maryland Wheelers, is organising the road
race championships for the following categories of riders:

Elite (S1, S2 & S3)

U23s
-
Women
-
Vets
Elite Men (S1, S2, S3) & U23s

The Under 23 Championship forms part of the Elite Race -- that is,
it will be one race, with the first three Espoirs winning medals and
the
National
Espoir Champions jersey.
NOTE: Following an appeal by Cycling
Ulster to the Cycling Ireland Road Commission it has been agreed
that Senior
3 Elite riders are eligible to compete. This also allows NICF 4th Category
riders to compete as they are classified as S3 by Cycling Ireland.

LADIES WILL HAVE A SEPARATE RACE, STARTING 10
MINS AFTER THE VETS
The Veterans Championship is not subject to UCI regulations; therefore
the medals and jersey can be won by any UCI license holder resident in
Ireland.
