Phoenix GP cancelled for 2021

It is with regret that Phoenix Cycling Club has made the decision to cancel the 2021 Phoenix GP which was due to be held on 7th March 2021. With the COVID-19 lockdown not due to end until at least the 5th March 2021, there is too much uncertainty around what restrictions will be in place on race day. This, combined with the huge logistical challenge of getting all the resources in place to put on a large racing event among this uncertainty has made the decision inevitable. We sincerely hope that some racing events will be possible for other clubs later in the 2021 season and we look forward to seeing our friends from around the country when racing resumes.
